Friends or a team? Start with your intention

Every Space in SEE begins with what you are looking for. Here is how choosing an intention shapes the group you are matched with, from profile to first meetup.

A group of students gathered around a laptop in a lecture hall, looking at the screen together.

People join SEE for different reasons. Some want someone to talk to over coffee. Others want a co-founder. Before anything else, SEE asks which one you are.

Two intentions, one or both

You can choose one intention or select both.

  • Find friends: people for genuine conversation, shared interests and new experiences.
  • Build your team: collaborators, startup teammates, mentors and people growing in similar directions.

Every Space is tailored to the intention you pick, so a group formed around friendship does not feel like a networking event, and a group formed around a project does not drift into small talk.

Step 1: create a profile and set your intentions

Share your goals, skills and interests. You might be looking for co-founders, project collaborators, study partners or new friends. The more honestly you describe what you are after, the better the match can be.

Step 2: get matched into a micro-group

Skip endless swiping and public feeds. SEE matches you into a private, high-alignment micro-group built around shared ground.

Step 3: break the ice and meet offline

A built-in smart facilitator breaks the ice, coordinates the group's availability and organizes your first real-world meetup. The aim is lasting social capital: people you know, not just people you follow.
